When you get right down to it, most Word documents are destined for the printer. Word offers many features to give you extensive control over how pages print.

Previewing Printed Pages

If you're looking at one page, Word's Print Preview mode offers no advantage over the standard Print Layout view. But there are two situations in which Print Preview is extremely useful. Click the Multiple Pages button and drag to show as few as two or (depending on hardware) as many as 60 pages at one time (Print Layout view's Zoom setting goes up to only 6 pages).
