Complex Data Types
Sometimes it helps to group data together in meaningful arrangements. Complex data types contain arrangements of simple data types. However, the declaration of a complex type is similar to a simple type as shown in Figure A.2. The key declarations tell you how SOAP will use various keywords such as type. Note that the declaration of complex and simple types is mutually exclusive as defined by the <selector> tag. SOAP supports two complex (or compound) data types: array and structure.
