“Breaking Updates” Web Part
The “Hello World” Web Part was not exciting and you will not find it useful, but at least you have an idea of what needs to be done to create and integrate your code within the SharePoint environment. Now, I want to introduce a very useful Web Part. I have called this the “Breaking Updates” Web Part. This Web Part can be used to disseminate daily news, alerts, or any other news that is important to communicate with employees. This Web Part also keeps your site alive, and you will find more employees accessing the SharePoint portal to get the latest update. This Web Part should be of specific interest for companies that are using the SharePoint portal as their intranet.
