Table B.1 defines the configuration parameters available in the NVRAM.
Variables | Description |

auto-boot? | The default value of this variable is true. When true, the system boots automatically after power is switched on or is reset. |
auto-boot-on-error | This variable controls degraded reboot of the system when subsystem failure occurs. |
boot-command | This command is executed if the value of auto-boot is set to true. The default value for the boot-command variable is boot. |
boot-device | This variable specifies the device from which to boot. Its default value is disk net. |
boot-file | This variable stores the arguments passed to a booted program and typically contains an empty string. |
