Registering Care-of Addresses
One of the vital steps that complete the mobile IP framework implementation is the registration process where the mobile device must register its new care-of address with the home agent. This step is analogous to specifying the new address on the “signboard.” When a mobile device returns to its home network, the device must deregister its care-of address by instructing its home agent to implement the deregistration process.
