Restoring Default Settings to a Menu Bar or Toolbar

If you no longer want the toolbar or menu bar customizations that you or someone else has made, it's easy to return any menu bar or toolbar to its original settings.

If you want to reset a toolbar, first display it. Then, follow these steps to reset either a toolbar or a menu bar:

Choose Tools, Customize.

Click Rearrange Commands.

From the Menu Bar drop-down box, choose the menu bar you want to reset. If you want to reset a toolbar, click Toolbar, and choose the open toolbar you want to reset.

Click Reset. The Reset Toolbar dialog box opens (see Figure 31.13).
