INNOVATING

The number one companion behavior that leverages speed is innovation. The power of innovation was recently brought home to one of the authors. He had a Fitbit personal fitness device that was damaged. Luckily, it was under warranty, and so he contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent an e-mail with instructions to get a replacement. Here’s what the manufacturer wanted:

  • A photo of the damage (band peeling) for our records with a note containing your case number #05675434 in the picture
  • A copy of your purchase receipt. (For online retailers, a screenshot of the order history page is sufficient.)
