In terms of the sports media, there are two sides to the issue of public relations. On one hand, there are a number of professional public and media relations outlets whose primary job is to provide media members with information and access. The other side is from the perspective of the sports media, which must work with these outlets and sort through the seemingly endless amounts of material they provide.
