Chapter 13
Building Slightly More Complex Graphs
IN THIS CHAPTER
Working with clustered charts
Building multiple line charts
Understanding error bar charts
Making sense of scatterplots
Creating box and whiskers plots
A wide variety of chart types are available in SPSS. In this chapter, you discover how to create some of these different graph types. Although we don’t cover every combination of the chart features, you can use the steps here to produce some useful graphs.
You may be familiar with some of the simple graphs, but you’ll also see examples of charts that may be less familiar and aren't as simple.
Building Clustered Graphs
As shown in Chapter 7, a clustered bar chart is the most effective graph for displaying the results of a cross tabulation. In this chapter, we show a few different types of clustered charts.
