Filegroup A logical collection of one or more files used to store database table data. Every database has at least one filegroup in SQL Server 2008 and may have more than one filegroup. The administrator can specify that an object should be stored in a specific filegroup.

Filestream A new feature in SQL Server 2008 that allows for the external storage of data. The filestream data is accessed as if it were stored in the standard database files.

Full Backup A database backup that backs up every data page in the database.

Full-Text Index A special index that allows for faster searches against text data columns. Search features provided include word forms and plurality.
