When you create your Squarespace trial account, you select a template for your site. That template has a certain selection of pages added to it by default. You can keep, remove, or rearrange these pages. You can add new pages and customize your pages. What you decide to do will depend on what content you want to add to your website.

In this chapter, you explore the different navigation areas you can use to add, remove, and modify pages; adjust page settings; and configure page settings.

Locating Content Manager

You work with the content in your pages and manage those pages using Content Manager. Here’s how you find Content Manager:

1. Log in to your website.

See Chapter 3 for details on logging in. The screen displays Site Manager.

2. Click the Content Manager (a) icon, in the upper left.

Typically, when you log in to your site, Content Manager is automatically loaded into view for you.
