YOUR FIRST JOB AS STAGE MANAGER

There is no minimum number of college credits that qualifies an individual to become a professional stage manager. Outside of educational theater situations, no producer (or anyone else who hires stage managers) will ask to see your college diploma, your high school diploma, or any other kind of certificate. Producers might ask to see your rÉsumÉ and will probably ask you about your past experience.
