A Portable Office

There is no getting away from it—every SM needs a portable office. Whether working in academic theatre, in community theatre, or in a professional situation, the SM must be ready and equipped to do the job with efficiency and expediency. Like any other profession, there are tools and supplies required. An SM is highly mobile. In the course of a day the SM might work at home, at the production office, at the rehearsal hall, at a business luncheon, and at a production meeting.
