CONCLUSIONSTEPPING INTO THE FIRE CIRCLE

FIRE TENDERS ARE MOTIVATED by the possibility that each conversation we convene might catalyze some small or large change in a world that’s calling out for innovative, collaborative solutions. But we can’t be true stewards of participation equipped only with the what of knowledge. We can’t be catalysts for innovation, transformation, and healing armed solely with the how of group methods. We need to learn to be sources of calm, clarity, and courage in the face of group passion, conflict, confusion, and despair. We need to be intentional about who we are being and who we are becoming.
