Using the Spellchecker and AutoSpellcheck

While spreadsheets typically contain more values and formulas than text, even the most elegantly designed spreadsheet can suffer from misspellings. Before you print out your spreadsheets and share them with coworkers or clients, you will want to spell check the spreadsheet.

If you would like to have suspected misspellings flagged as you type them, you can turn on the AutoSpellcheck feature. Click the AutoSpellcheck button on the Main toolbar (you may want to do this before you begin typing text entries on the sheet).
