Using Charts in Calc
You've already seen how you can format your Calc spreadsheets to make the data easier to read and interpret. However, you will find that no matter how well-designed and formatted your spreadsheet is, many people do not relate well to columns and rows of numbers. A way to add visual impact to your spreadsheets and put the data in a format that many people can easily relate to is to include charts.
Charts are pictorial representations of spreadsheet data and there is definitely truth to the old adage that “a picture is worth a thousand words” (or is that a thousand cells of data?).
