Appendix C. Quick Reference
HTML5 adds over 20 new tags to the web developer’s toolbox. Some of these new tags are semantic tags used for defining different types of divisions, like footer and header. Others pertain to audio and video clips and user forms.
Here is a list of the new tags with chapter cross-references where applicable. Because this book is intended for beginners, many of these new tags are not covered, as they are primarily for the use of more advanced web developers.
