Registering your company

If you’ve decided to register your business as a limited company, then now’s the time to do so. It’s a very simple process, particularly as I’d recommend that you use a company formation agent. Your accountant can organise this for you, or you can find your own. I’ve listed a few in the ‘List of Contacts’ section on p.186. It should cost you around £120 for everything you need. The paperwork is very straightforward and you can do it online. The form of company you’re most likely to need is a Private Company Limited by Shares, but do get advice from your accountant or formation agent.
