17Give What You Want

If you want passion from your team, you have to give it. Think about your interactions with others. Are they filled with enthusiasm and energy, or are they flat and lifeless? Your level of passion is reflected back to you—it’s your boomerang to the world. This is another example of the inside-out approach to leadership. When it comes to passion, you have to start with yourself. Give what you want, and you will get what you need.
