We saw in the introduction how, in his book Hyperobjects, Timothy Morton describes a type of objects of such grand temporal and spatial proportions that they defy regular ideas about what a thing is. He mentions several examples of hyperobjects, such as an oil spill, climate change, the solar system, and radioactive material.
