Chapter 8: Inspiration
The US American inventor and founder of the film industry, Thomas Edison, said in 1932 in “Harper’s Monthly”: “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.”
But this one percent is so important for creative success that artists – be it musicians, poets or photographers – constantly get asked: “Where do you get your ideas?”
The spectrum of answers goes from going for a walk or watching your surroundings to female curves – at least in the case of architect Oscar Niemeyer.
