When you hear the term work-related illness, you probably think of the lung diseases miners can get from inhaling dust, scurvy for seafarers or asbestos related illnesses for builders. But photographers also have their weak points.
Especially if photography is your only income, you should be aware of the three problem areas hand, back and eyes and take precautions that you don’t become unable to work if you are having problems.
Photographers nowadays no longer spend whole days in the darkroom, breathing in poisonous fumes, but they spend day after day sat in front of the computer, editing photos, keywording and selling.
