A few years ago, I was at my mother-in-law’s fishing camp on Three Mile Lake in Southwest Louisiana, and as I was walking around with my fishing pole, I noticed a crew of guys building a pipeline. So, of course, I went over and asked what it was for—oil or gas?
They laughed and said neither—it was for CO2. The crew was building a pipeline to transport good old carbon dioxide into old, supposedly tapped-out oil fields not far away.
