Developing Change Accelerators
In different parts of the world, pioneering adult educators have listened to the murmurs of change and are experimenting with very different ways of organizing higher education.1 In the city of Nancy,2 France, an alliance was formed in 1999 between a business school, an engineering university, and a college of arts, with the visionary purpose of developing individuals with a multidisciplinary perspective, one that includes art, science, technology, and management, because, the educators reasoned, the complex challenges require an interdisciplinary preparation.
