Content Scripting Tools

Having discussed many concepts and principles underlying the successful creation of interactive story content for simulation environments, as well as considering how gameplay and pedagogy integrate with story, we now turn our attention to the actual building of our prototypes and projects. What software tools can we use to move from the idea stage to a virtual world that we can begin to use and evaluate? Will you have to be a hardcore coder in order to build a story-driven simulation?
