Real-Time 3D Virtual Worlds

When pedagogical content (and the gameplay that will help roll it out) calls for significant user avatar spatial navigation and interaction, in a realistic looking environment, then a real-time 3D-rendered (RT3D) environment is probably the platform of choice. RT3D demands a high degree of computing and graphical processing power and significant bandwidth.
