October 2003: Lots to share about my day today. When I met Bonnie for lunch this afternoon I was awkward. And then awkward for being awkward and hating that I was that way. So then trying, overly hard, not to be awkward. The restaurant on Granville Island was selected in part for its accessibility. She and Michael have a condo nearby so she can motor her scooter over directly without having to deal with cars or cabs or any other such inconveniences experienced daily by a person with a physical disability.
