A well-conceived future funding section gives the funder a solid blueprint detailing how the nonprofit agency intends to raise money in order to continue operating its programs and meeting the needs of people in the community. A statement like the following is woefully inadequate: “In subsequent years, St. Joseph’s Hospital will fund the Healthy Heart Project from a variety of sources.” The future funding section must be much more specific.
