A Look at Immersive Theater

Among the various fields that can teach us potential storytelling principles in VR, immersive theater ranks among the most helpful. The origins of immersive theater go back to the beginnings of modern theater in the 19th century. A great deal of experimental and interactive theater and their aesthetics in the modern setting is constructed around ideas that first came to prominence in the 1930s with John Dewey’s book Art as Experience.
