16Reporting
16.1 INTRODUCTION
Effective execution of the organization’s strategy requires a well-organized and consistently implemented reporting methodology to maintain an organization-wide focus on the strategy. Regular reporting of metrics will help keep the organization moving towards achieving strategic objectives and will help enhance the sense of ownership that was initiated during the Define Phase. Regular reporting also creates accountability and provides an opportunity for managers to express appreciation when performance levels are high and encourage a renewal of effort when performance levels are low.
