In the formative years of innovation embedment, getting the right people to join the innovation effort is by far the hardest part of the resource equation. Indeed, no matter how complicated or hopeless it seems, the money is the easy part. An open market for resources, talent, and ideas is required to embed innovation. Ideas will come about from the process and tools you establish to create the innovation. But, ultimately, they come about only by having the right talent to innovate, as well as talent to move fluidly toward the ideas of other innovators.
