So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This part of the book introduces the software architecture styles and mechanics that lead to highly versatile and adaptable applications and services. It does take on a more technical slant, but the illustrative diagrams and explanations should be palatable for many who do not regularly practice software development.
