About the Author

David Iverson is the Head of Asset Allocation at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund. He has 16 years' experience ranging from financial market research to equity strategy, institutional investment advice, investment risk management, and asset allocation. He has worked at many leading investment organizations, such as the investment banks Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW), ABN Amro, and Goldman Sachs JB Were, and has done investment management at ING and investment consulting at Russell Investment Group. He has a First Class Master's Degree in Finance and a law degree from the University of Auckland, awarded in 1996, and has been the recipient of many scholarships and awards. He has also published in academic journals, such as the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and in practitioner journals, including an award-winning article on stock market overreaction in the New Zealand Investment Analyst. He is a member of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute, a certified securities analyst professional, and a member of the EDHEC Risk Institute International Advisory Board.
