Considering Project Probabilities
In some cases, it may be helpful to consider probabilities when determining staffing requirements in a project-based environment. In such an environment, it is usually possible to determine the staffing requirements for any given project. That’s not the problem. What is unknown is which of the projects will actually be implemented.
On the one hand, it is not feasible to staff up to meet the requirements of all the possible projects.
