Applying Quantitative Staffing Analysis to Succession Planning
There are several ways in which a quantitative staffing analysis can enhance the effectiveness of an organization’s succession and development planning process. To begin with, quantitative analysis can help an organization identify specific areas of vulnerability and determine the “right” size of the candidate pool. Each of these two applications is discussed later in the chapter.
