Implementation Notes

This project will involve developing the following items:

  • The make_inventory.xsl stylesheet, which will be used to produce a flat-file representation of the orderable part information from a catalog that follows the document type definition from OrderCatalog.dtd.

  • The IMPORT-INVENTORY COBOL program, which will take the output of make_inventory.xsl and populate a COBOL indexed file with the part database information given.

  • Themake_update.xsl stylesheet, which will be used to convert the orders in OrderDB.xml to the flat-file data ...
