Working with a Sponsor

You already know that sponsors are generally busy, in-demand people, and your project is just one activity among many that your sponsor is currently working on. She will want everything from you that you want from her. She doesn’t want an absent project manager, an inexperienced project manager, an untrained project manager, or a micromanaging project manager—and she certainly doesn’t want a project manager who wants to be the project sponsor.
