The Key Lessons

The goal of strategy in nonprofit organizations is to effectively deliver the cause for which the nonprofit exists. For a business, strategy is about gaining competitive advantage. For nonprofits, the competition is not about their cause because if another nonprofit is serving the same social need, then they may even collaborate or support each other, rather than compete.
