Introduction

What This Book Is

They say—to really get your point across—that you should start, right from the get-go, with the main message (Minto 2009). So here it is, my key message:

If you want to achieve top performance, you have to use your strengths!

That’s it. There’s no more hocus-pocus here, no more (unnecessary) complexity. If you want to be very, very good at something, you have to start with talent. If you are interested in getting high performance out of yourself— or out of those around you—then read on. If you are happy achieving average, then this book is not for you.
