Introduction
The production tasks associated with audio control in the studio production environment are the primary responsibility of two important production technicians: the Audio Operator (A1) and (if need be) the Audio Assistant (A2). The tasks associated with these positions are detailed in this chapter.
Depending on the design of the control room, the audio control space will be located either in the control room itself or in an isolated booth nearby.
