The old aphorism states that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” As a photographer, you can use flattering lighting effects to directly influence the perceived beauty of your subject.
Beauty portraits use colors, accessories, and often intense makeup to emphasize a person’s visual appeal. Such images are highly stylized and you can enhance the scene using lighting effects to place accents, create a specific mood, and to hide blemishes.
