Developing a Convincing Scenario for Change in the Middle Phase

If you are going to introduce major changes into the system, why spend time on determining what is going on, as suggested in previous chapters? Why not just turn things around immediately?

Well, there are several ways of doing just that. You can fire everyone and start all over, but this time your way. You can threaten people to “fish with your pole or cut bait.” You can point out the need for change and expect people to rush through the new door leading to paradise or its business equivalent.
