The OSMM: An Overview

There are more than 80,000 open source products available for download from SourceForge. Although the vast majority of them are probably not useful for an individual IT organization (or even perhaps any IT organization), if even ^1/10 of 1 percent of them are potential candidates for use, that represents a pool of more than 70 products that must be assessed for their maturity for a particular organization.
