Assessing Product Quality

Quality is a key factor in determining a product's maturity level. When assessed too late in a project life cycle, lack of quality can have disastrous consequences. Quality is inversely related to risk: The higher the quality level of a product, the lower the risk that it will fail in use, causing production outages and raising costs.
