Your success in life is a direct result of the relationships that you cultivate. The journey of life is meant to be experienced with others. Our relationships add to the complexity of the tapestry that we are weaving all the days of our life. The friendships we develop add beautiful thread to the tapestry, and the stronger the threads, the more durable the fabric.
Developing lasting, loving, and meaningful friendships is not difficult, and it doesn't require some secret formula that few have ever been able to uncover. The development of life-enhancing friendships has been written about, talked about, and demonstrated for thousand of years of recorded history. A great recent example is Dale Carnegie’s landmark book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, which was first published in 1936. According to The New York Times, this classic has sold more than 30 million copies. It's a book that I highly recommend.
