6.1 Not keeping costs down

Once the product has been launched into the market, the mood in the start-up company changes and the same excitement as at the start returns. With a positive response from the market and a promising growth in revenues, the objectives and style in management and operations may change. Time has come to reap the rewards of all the years of hard work; salaries can increase and bonuses may shift from shares to cash.
