Introduction
Even though language is universally used for communications, unfortunately many times language is misunderstood. The actual words are not misunderstood, but the meaning conveyed is often misunderstood. For the most part of any communications stream, we only pick up bits and pieces of the actual communications, and we are left to fill in the gaps, so we look for subtle cues, like body or eye movement. Language is just not often that clear, which leads to a whole host of problems, and there are several reasons why language, even the verbal form of communication, is often misunderstood.
