Well, there isn’t any.
If you think about marketing, a body of literature exists going back a century, but there is no accepted theory of marketing. There are many models you may have examined from your early college days like the 4P’s (Price, Promotion, Product, Placement) or perhaps channel marketing, or Porter’s five forces, or even the well-known Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis.
