Managing Cluster Partitions
After the appropriate nodes are in the cluster, managing cluster membership becomes largely automated. If a failure occurs, the failed node is automatically configured out of the cluster. Rejoining the node to the cluster is performed using the scadmin startnode command.
Another situation that may require manual intervention can occur in a cluster with more than two nodes. In this case, multiple failures of the private interconnects will cause partitioning.
