Main Datasets

In March 2000, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provided RFF with four large datasets derived from two of the Agency's databases: the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Information System (CERCLIS), which is EPA's major Superfund action tracking system, and the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS), which is EPA's internal financial accounting system. All the datasets contain data from the beginning of the program through the end of FY 1999. We received two datasets with CERCLIS data—a site-level dataset and an action-level dataset.
